We are always interested in receiving resumes from individuals with the appropriate skills. These positions include Registered Nurses, Care Aides, Administration Personnel, and Retail Clerks. Please contact BERNADETTE GOUDREAU at (250) 563‑2551 or by e-mail for more information, or stop by 1506 Ferry Avenue, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm. Current job opportunities with the Prince George Hospice Society are listed below!
The many volunteer opportunities available through the Hospice Society are divided into two categories. Direct volunteers work directly with people accessing our services and therefore must complete in-depth training. They are asked for a commitment of 50 hours during the year and must be 19 years of age. They must complete an interview, background check, and provide two references. Indirect volunteers complete assignments and tasks that support the Society as a whole, with training done on the job. Many of our volunteer positions are flexible to fit the volunteer's schedule.
To be considered for a Volunteer position, please send us an e-mail with your name, phone number and a brief message about how you heard about Hospice and why you'd like to volunteer.
