Planned Giving

The Prince George Hospice Society's Planned Giving Program exists to encourage the planning of charitable gifts, providing the greatest benefit for you, your family, and the Prince George Hospice Society. As tax laws greatly favor charitable dontations by providing substantial tax savings, giving can greatly benefit both parties.

Will Bequests

Your will is a great tool, providing you with the opportunity to give a major gift to your community through the Prince George Hospice Society while still meeting the financial needs of your family. If your death will trigger a tax liability for any reason, a bequest to the Prince George Hospice Society will greatly reduce that liability.

Life Insurance

A donor can name the Prince George Hospice Society as the owner of a new insurance policy. While you are paying the premiums, you will receive an income tax deductible receipt annually for the total amount of the premiums. Alternately, you can make the Society the owner of an existing policy, allowing you an immediate tax benefit.

Gifts Of Property

A donation of property, including securities and works of art, provides a gift receipt for the fair market value and possible avoidance of tax on what could be a capital gain.
